  • ¾ cup warm water


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

  2. In a small bowl, rehydrate the Thrive Life cranberries with a bit of warm water for about 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and chopped nuts.

  4. In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, butter, vanilla, and Thrive Life instant milk rehydrated with warm water.

  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the cranberries.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan to cool completely on a wire rack.

  • 1 ½ cups Thrive Life Instant Potatoes (for a soft texture)

  • 1 ½ cups Thrive Life Instant Milk

  • 3 cups Thrive Life All-Purpose Flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 ½ tsp instant yeast (not included in Thrive Life)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter


Instructions to make the jar:

In a quart-sized mason jar, layer the ingredients: instant potatoes, instant milk, flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.


To Prepare:

  1. In a large bowl, combine 1 ½ cups warm water with the contents of the jar.

  2. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil or melted butter.

  3. Stir until the dough forms and knead for 5-10 minutes.

  4. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet.

  6. Divide the dough into small rolls and place them on the sheet. Let them rise for an additional 30 minutes.

  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm!

Savory Onion Roll Jar Mix

In a quart jar layer

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 Cup dehydrated onion flakes

  • 3 1/3 cups bread flour

  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon powdered milk

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1 Tablespoon yeast

 

Instructions to make jar:

1.    Place the sugar and yeast in a small Ziplock baggie and add to top of finished jar.

2.    Combine all other ingredients in a one-quart jar.

 

To Prepare: 

1.    Add 1-1/8 cups of warm water (105 to 110 degrees F) to a bowl,

2.    sprinkle the baggie of yeast and sugar onto the water and let float on top for a few minutes to activate.

3.    Stir in jar mix with 1-2 tablespoon of vegetable oil.

4.    Stir well, then knead for a couple minutes. 

5.    Cover and let rise, about an hour.

6.    Cut into sections and make 12 rolls and let them rise again. 

7.    Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
