*If they are one you use a lot of one, then make multiple batches to have it ready and handy

 


 

Taco Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp chili powder

  • 2 tbsp corn starch

  • 2 tbsp cumin

  • 2 tbsp smoked or regular paprika

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • ¼ tsp cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight jar.

  2. Use 2-3 tbsp per recipe in place of 1 store-bought taco seasoning packet.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 

 


 

Au Jus Mix

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp beef bouillon

  • 4 tbsp corn starch

  • 4 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp parsley

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp pepper

Instructions:

  1. Blend ingredients in a high-speed blender to create a fine powder.

  2. Use 2 tbsp of mix with 2 cups of water in a pot and simmer for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.

 

 


 

 Chili Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 6 tbsp chili powder

  • 2 tsp smoked or regular paprika

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. This makes enough for two pots of chili—use half per pot.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 

Fajita Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 4 tsp chili powder

  • 2 tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp cayenne

  • 2 tsp sugar

  • ¾ tsp salt

  • 2 tsp smoked or regular paprika

  • 1 tsp oregano

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use according to your taste or the amount called for in your recipe.

  3. This mix makes two batches of fajitas.

  4. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 


 

Seasoned Salt

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp salt

  • 1 tbsp paprika

  • 1½ tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp turmeric

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use according to taste or recipe needs.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 



 

Beef Stew Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3 tbsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp paprika

  • 3 tbsp beef bouillon

  • 1 tbsp celery seed

  • 1 tsp basil

  • 1 tbsp parsley

  • 1 tbsp salt

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • 2 tsp pepper

  • ½ tsp thyme

  • ½ tsp cayenne

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use ¼ cup of mix per pot of beef stew.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 

 


 

Onion Soup Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup minced onion flakes

  • ½ cup beef bouillon

  • 2 tsp onion powder

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp parsley

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp celery seed

  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use 2-3 tbsp in place of 1 packet of store-bought onion soup mix.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 


 

Ranch Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 8 tsp garlic powder

  • 4 tsp onion powder

  • 3 tsp parsley

  • 3 tsp dill

  • 3 heaping tsp chives

  • 2 tsp salt

  • ½ cup powdered buttermilk

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use 2-3 tbsp in place of 1 packet of store-bought ranch seasoning mix.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.



 

Italian Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp oregano

  • 1 tbsp garlic salt

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp parsley

  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Use 2-3 tbsp in place of 1 packet of store-bought Italian dressing mix.

  3. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 year.

 

 

Rub Rub (BBQ Rub)

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp onion powder

  • 2 tbsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp Creole seasoning

  • 3 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 5 tsp smoked or regular paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • ½ tsp chili powder

Instructions:

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

  2. Apply liberally to ribs—this makes enough for 2-4 slabs.
