Fajita Bowl
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon Sazonita mix (from below mix)
2 True Lime packets

1 cup THRIVE seasoned chicken slices https://goshen.thrivelife.com/seasoned-chicken-slices-freeze-dried.html
3/4 cup THRIVE onion slices https://goshen.thrivelife.com/onion-slices-freeze-dried.html
3/4 cup THRIVE red bell peppers, sliced https://goshen.thrivelife.com/red-bell-peppers-freeze-dried.html

2 cups warm water
Cooking oil for sautéing
Tortillas, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, tomato (for serving)
Instructions for assembly:
place 1 tablespoon of the Sazonita mix in a baggie with the 2 True Lime packets, and set aside .
In a quart jar, layer the green bell peppers, seasoned chicken slices, onion slices, red bell peppers, and green chili peppers. Place seasonings on top and seal the jar.
To prepare the fajita bowl:
empty the jar into a bowl. Add 2 cups of warm water to rehydrate the mixture. Gently mix and put down under the water. let it sit in the water for 10-15 minutes to rehydrate.
Drain the mixture, retaining the liquid.
In a hot frying pan, add a couple of tablespoons of oil. Add the drained vegetables and sauté for a couple of minutes until they start to brown.
In the retained water, add the True Lime packets and the 1 tablespoon of Sazonita mix. Stir well, then add the mixture into the frying pan.
Simmer until the liquid is mostly gone.
Serve the fajita filling with tortillas, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, and tomato or whatever your preference is.
Sazonita Mix:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup garlic powder
1/2 cup paprika
1/2 cup ground cumin
1/2 cup ground coriander
1/4 cup sea salt
Instructions: In a bowl, mix and transfer the mixture into a jar for storage.
