This batch was crafted with nourishing oils infused with skin-loving botanicals to deeply moisturize and protect against winter dryness. Each plant was carefully selected for its unique benefits:
- Comfrey – Known for its ability to support skin renewal and soothe irritation.
- Calendula Flowers – A gentle, calming herb that helps reduce redness and dryness.
- Marshmallow Root – Rich in mucilage, it hydrates and softens dry, rough skin.
- Lavender – Soothes and promotes overall skin health while offering a light, calming scent.
- Hyssop – Traditionally used to cleanse and support healthy skin.
- Borage – Packed with gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), it helps maintain moisture and elasticity.
Each of these herbs was hand-harvested and carefully infused to maximize their benefits. To complement the formula, orange essential oil was added for an uplifting touch.
These bars are made with a rich base of shea butter, cocoa butter, and beeswax, creating a protective barrier to lock in moisture and keep skin soft and supple. Directions:
To use, simply hold the lotion bar in your hands and let your body heat soften the surface. You can either rub the bar directly onto dry areas like hands, elbows, knees, and feet, or warm it between your palms and massage the melted oils into your skin. The rich butters and infused oils will absorb quickly, leaving your skin soft and hydrated without a greasy feel.
For best results, apply after a warm shower or before bed for deep, overnight nourishment. When not in use, store in a cool, dry place. If temperatures are warmer, keeping it in a tin or container will help prevent melting.
